MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The French Embassy in the U.S. had some April Fool's fun with a Memphis landmark. The embassy's verified Facebook account posted an image Tuesday of the world-famous Louvre Museum in Paris but with a new addition to its courtyard. "BREAKING: The Louvre is set to renovate its iconic pyramid in the style of the Memphis Pyramid (also: the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid)," the post stated. The new pyramid came complete with a Bass Pro Shops logo and Ducks Unlimited logo, replacing the I.M. Pei design that was added in the 1980s. It was, of course, an April Fool's joke.
