A warm front this afternoon will cause rapidly rising temperatures, which will reach the lower 70s. Winds will gust up to 40 mph with high wind gusts produced by thunderstorms.

Stronger or even severe storms are possible tonight with the arrival of a powerful cold front. Potentially severe storms will form along the front with damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes possible. Heavy rainfall is also likely with these storms.

Storms will end before daybreak on Thursday, with skies remaining mostly cloudy and high temperatures in the lower 60s during the afternoon.

Even chillier temperatures arrive Sunday with highs in the middle 40s.
