(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Police responded to reports of a shooting on Astrozon Boulevard on Tuesday, April 1, that ended in one person dead, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). CSPD reported that when officers arrived on the 3700 block of Astrozon, near South Academy Bouleva rd, around 9 p.m., they were told that the shooting victim had been taken to the hospital in a car. A little later, a call came in about a shooting victim at the hospital. When officers arrived, they found out that the victim came from Astrozon Boulevard. The victim had at least one bullet wound and was pronounced dead. Homicide detectives took over the investigation. There are currently no suspects in custody.
