North Carolina lifts burn ban for all counties in the state

RALEIGH, NC – According to the State Forest Service, burn bans have been lifted across North Carolina.
The original mandate went into effect on March 21st due to the hazardous forest fire conditions.
North Carolina residents will be able to obtain burning permits as of 8 am Wednesday. The decis
ion to lift the ban was made by commissioners within the state office of agriculture who say it’s thanks to the much needed rain.
Officials are still urging people to use caution when burning any debris on your property.
In South Carolina, the burn ban has been lifted for all but 5 counties.
