RALEIGH, NC – According to the State Forest Service, burn bans have been lifted across North Carolina. The original mandate went into effect on March 21st due to the hazardous forest fire conditions. North Carolina residents will be able to obtain burning permits as of 8 am Wednesday. The decis ion to lift the ban was made by commissioners within the state office of agriculture who say it’s thanks to the much needed rain.
