CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Hop into Easter with multiple egg hunts happening across the tri-county that promise fun for everyone in your family.
Easter egg hunts planned over the next two weeks include traditional hunts and some that are a little more egg-streme, like by kayak on Kiawah Island o

April 5
Egg Hunt at Carolyn Lewis Fields - Goose Creek Recreation
The city of Goose Creek's annual Easter egg hunt will be held in a new location this year. Community members are invited to Carolyn Lewis Fields (380 Coleridge Drive) from 10 a.m. until noon for activities.
There will be egg hunts by age group and fun crafts; guests can take pictures with the Easter Bunny and enjoy food trucks on-site.
Ages 6-8: 10:35 a.m.
Ages 3-5: 10:25 a.m.
Ages 0-2: 10:15 a.m.
April 6
16th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens
There will be three egg hunts designed for children in various age groups at the beautiful Magnolia Plantation & Gardens on Sunday, April 6, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Ages 9 and up: 1:30 p.m.
Ages 5-8: 2:15 p.m.
Ages 0-4: 3 p.m.
Festivities include two “hippity hoppity” sack races at 1:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., plus fun crafts, face painting, and delicious bites for purchase from Burgers ‘n Freys.

Cane Bay Eggstravaganza - Summerville
The Cane Bay community will hold its annual Easter Eggstravaganza on April 6. The event will be held at Cane Bay High School (1624 State Road, Summerville) from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
There will be jump castles, vendors, and plenty of food trucks to enjoy. Guests can also take part in a sensory-friendly event for children with disabilities, regardless of age group.
Please RSVP online; some events during the festival will come with a ticket purchase.
Organizers say the event draws thousands of people each year and may sell out.
April 12
Helicopter Egg Drop – Legare Farms
A unique egg hunt will take place on April 12 at Legare Farms on Johns Island. For the first time, the Easter eggs will be dropped by a helicopter! Be sure to bring your basket.
Guests can also take pictures with the Easter Bunny, see the baby chicks, and collect the eggs dropped from high above.
Gates will open at 9:30 a.m., and the eggs will drop at 11 a.m. Organizers say each child will receive a gift when they redeem their eggs.
Tickers cost $12 and can be purchased online.
Spring Egg-stravaganza Festival – Moncks Corner
Vintiques Artisan Market will host an Easter-themed festival featuring an egg hunt, visits from the Easter Bunny, games and prizes, live music, and delicious food and treats.
The event begins at 11 a.m. at 211 East Main Street in Moncks Corner.
Adult Easter egg hunt at Firefly Distillery – North Charleston
Easter egg hunts are not just for kids! An adults-only egg hunt is planned at Firefly Distillery on April 12. Guests can grab a drink and search for hundreds of hidden Easter eggs. Treats range from candy and gifts to golden eggs with prizes valued up to $400.
You must be 21 or older to attend the event.
There will be food trucks like Smash City Burgers, Roti Rolls, & Lobster, and Delights Dessert & Coffee on site, along with DJs playing music throughout the celebration.
The event begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m.

Easter Scavenger Hunt - Kiawah Island
An Easter-themed scavenger hunt, including colorful wooden eggs, will take place around Night Heron Park. Be sure to grab a clue sheet from the Nature Center and find the solution to the riddle as you go.
April 15
Egg-streme Kayak Egg Hunt - Kiawah Island Golf Resort
Now, this is a one-of-a-kind Easter egg hunt! Kiawah Island's Nature Program is taking the hunt to the water on April 15.
Guests will be equipped with paddles and nets as they search the water for eggs scattered throughout the salt marsh at Mingo Point.
Tickets for this event cost $65 per adult and $45 for children 11 and under. Children must meet the minimum age restriction of three and be accompanied by an adult.

April 19
Pawleys Island Easter Celebration - Pawleys Island
The Town of Pawleys Island will host an Easter celebration on April 19 at Pawleys Pavilion Park (323 Myrtle Ave.). Festivities include an Easter egg hunt for all ages, cookies, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
It begins at 2 p.m. and will end when all of the eggs have been found.
Eggventure community egg hunt - Summerville
A community egg hunt will be held at McKissick Field (900 John Mckissick Way) from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
