Oscar Mayer Wienermobile to make stops around Charleston this week

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – An iconic hotdog-shaped vehicle known as the ‘Oscar Mayer Wienermobile’ will roll through the Charleston area over the next several days.
Wienermobile pilot “Grill ‘Em Up Ellie” and her co-pilot, “Pickle Pip,” will be handing out the iconic wiener whistle
s at each stop. People are welcome to take pictures and enjoy a tour of the truck.
The Wienermobile will make its first appearance at the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry on Thursday, April 3, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

It will then head to the Lowcountry Strawberry Festival on Friday. Guests can tour the vehicle and grab one of those iconic wiener whistles from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The Wienermobile’s next move is to Summerville on Saturday for the Flowertown Festival. The truck will be parked along South Main Street from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Finally, the truck will put the final touches on its Charleston tour at the 16th annual Easter Egg Hunt at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
