A team of researchers from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Kunming Institute of Botany (KIB) of CAS has identified a new species of flowering plant, Phlogacanthus xanthophyllus, in the limestone forests of southeastern Yunnan.
