Woman struck, killed in Prince George's County crash

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police in Prince George's County are investigating a deadly pedestrian crash that happened early Wednesday morning.
Details about what led up to the crash are limited; however, the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) said that around 6 a.m.
, officers were called to the 55th Avenue and Landover Road area for a pedestrian crash.
When first responders arrived, they found a woman suffering from trauma.
She died at the scene.

PGPD said the driver stayed at the crash site, and investigators are working to determine what led up to the collision.
As of Wednesday morning, westbound lanes on Annapolis Road were closed at Landover Road.
