Family of slain Cash App founder Bob Lee files lawsuit against killer

(KRON) -- The family of slain Cash App founder Bob Lee filed a civil lawsuit against killer Nima Momeni and his family. Lee's family alleges that the Momeni family tampered and attempted to destroy evidence linked to Lee's murder.
The lawsuit was filed on March 28 to the Superior Court of Californi
a of the County of San Francisco. The lawsuit's defendants also include a homeowner's association and a security camera company. It alleges the improper release of surveillance video that was used by the media.
Momeni was found guilty of second-degree murder for fatally stabbing Lee in April of 2023, which a verdict was reached last December. The civil lawsuit was hinted back in December. Lee's ex-wife said, after Momeni was found guilty, the family would file a civil suit.
