362 inches of snowfall recorded at Lake Tahoe this season

(KRON) -- Winter is over, but to the delight of skiers and snowboarders, snow is still falling over the Sierra Nevada mountains this spring.
Palisades Tahoe ski resort said this week's storms brought snowfall totals up to 362 inches for the 2024-2025 season. Palisades recorded nearly 100 inches of
snowfall within the month of March.
Sierra-at-Tahoe ski resort said more than 20 inches of snow blanketed its peaks within the last 24 hours.
"With a later start to the season, Miracle March delivered an impressive 81 inches, setting us up for incredible conditions all the way through Closing Day, currently set for Sunday, April 20," a Sierra-at-Tahoe spokesperson wrote.

According to the Central Sierra Snow Lab, the Tahoe region is currently at 103% of median snowfall to date. The lab has recorded 341 inches of snowfall at its location since Northern California's wet season began in October. ...read more read less
