Just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, the National Weather Service (NWS) issued severe thunderstorm warnings for multiple Counties in northeast Kansas. These warnings come with the possibility of tennis ball sized hail, gusts up to 70 miles per hour and may be capable of producing a tornado.
