Clouds are increasing as Wednesday begins and strong and severe storms are in the picture for the day that's ahead. Some non-severe storms are possible as early as the morning drive. The highest chance for severe weather will be between 9 PM Wednesday and 3 AM Thursday.
Severe storms will, likely
, be numerous through the region.
Early morning temps end up in the upper 30s before daybreak.
As much warmer air pushes in our direction, some rain and t-storms scatter through during the morning hours. However, these storms are not likely to be as strong as the storms that are possible in the evening and nighttime, as an incoming cold front starts to move from west to east across the region.
Temperatures will be rising through the day to highs around 70° by evening.
The strongest evening t-storms will form along a cold front which, when encountering this warmer and more humid air, will generate the potential for high winds, large hail, some flooding, and tornadoes.
Strong and severe storms are likely late Wednesday through early Thursday morning
The strong storms will last into early morning Thursday, decreasing in intensity by daybreak.
