$88M project creates more lanes on freeway in Tulare

TULARE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Caltrans will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday for an $88.9 million project in Tulare that is providing more freeway lanes within the city.
Caltrans officials say the $88.9 million Tagus Rehab Project provides a six-lane freeway in Tulare for Highway 99. The lane
s go from Prosperity Avenue to 1.2 miles south of the Avenue 280 overcrossing.
In 2021, Caltrans announced the project, holding a groundbreaking ceremony.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Highway 99 Tagus Rehab Project will be held on Friday, April 4, at 10 a.m. within the project limits. ...read more read less
