OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KFOR) - The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) on Tuesday updated its measles tracking system to 8 confirmed and 2 probable cases. Measles is a reportable disease in Oklahoma. It is a highly infectious and serious disease caused by the measles virus. Measles is also known as rubeola, 10-day measles, hard measles, and red measles, says OSDH. Health officials say updates to case numbers are provided at 12 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday.
