Norman, OK - Oklahoma sophomore center Landry Allen is entering the transfer portal and leaving the program.
The former Tuttle star made the announcement on social media saying, "I have been so unbelievably lucky to live out a dream that l've always had since I was a little girl. The University o
f Oklahoma has given me so many new opportunities, friends, and a lifetime of memories that l will cherish forever. However, I am a person with a strong undoubting faith, and I believe wholeheartedly that God's plan is greater than mine. Therefore, I have entered the transfer portal. This decision is made with nothing but love and the desire to live out God's plan vulnerably. Thank you to all of the coaches, my teammates, and Sooner Nation for being the best support systems. The time I've spent here has been nothing short of amazing, and I want nothing but the absolute best for this program. My heart will forever be a Sooner"
Allen averaged one point and one rebound per game while shooting 44 percent from the floor in 21 games last season.
Allen will have two years of eligibility remaining wherever she decides to play next. Allen joins Reyna Scott and Kiersten Johnson in the transfer portal leaving the Sooners with five open roster spots. ...read more read less
