NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A man has died following a late-night shooting in Norfolk. According to police, officers were called to the 7-Eleven located in the 100 block of West Little Creek Road at 11:48 p.m. for the report of a shooting in the Ward's Corner area. When officers arrived, they found Da niel A. Burnett, 29, of Norfolk suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives returned to the scene Tuesday to conduct a follow-up investigation on this homicide case, police confirmed. WAVY captured these images of the active investigation. April 1.
