GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — The McDonald’s All American Games showcase some of the top players in high school basketball every year.
But, the games also make an impact in communities.
McDonald’s is teaming up with Ronald McDonald House Charities once again to “honor and uplift famil
ies who are facing medical challenges,” according to a news release.
Greenfield-Central High School star and University of Connecticut signee Braylon Mullins, who is playing in the All American Games, is doing his part.
Mullins will represent the Maisonneuve family during the game on Monday night.

The following is information on the Maisonneuve family from the news release:
Jamie Maisonneuve, a mother from Michigan City, Indiana, has been staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana in Indianapolis with her son Amari, who has been battling Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome since birth. Amari has been in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) since August.
Thanks to RMHC, Jamie is able to stay with Amari, his twin brother Lennox, and their older brother Logan while two of her teenage daughters remain at home. RMHC has been a source of comfort and community for Jamie, who says, “It feels like home here. The kindness of the staff and the understanding of other parents make us feel like we are all one big family.”
Mullins will wear a custom Ronald McDonald House Charities-branded shoe tag featuring the Maisonneuve family’s name during shootaround before Monday’s game. The autograph shoe tags will be given to the Maisonneuve family after the game.
The girls McDonald’s All American Game will be played at 6:30 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, followed by the boys game. The boys game is slated to start around 9:00 p.m. EDT. Both games will take place inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
