GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- Greensboro police are investigating after a man was found dead on Monday night, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release. Around 11:48 p.m., Greensboro police responded to a report of a man down in an apartment in the 300 block of West Camel Street.  Officers located the man, later identified as 65-year-old Arthur Lee Gilmore, who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. This is the 11th homicide of 2025. The investigation is ongoing.
