SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County Sheriff’s Office deputies in collaboration with the United States Marshals Service arrested a person in connection with a February 28 shooting. Authorities allege that an argument between Jervonte Danzell Flowers and a victim took place in front of the victim’s home on February 28, 2025, that resulted in the victim being shot. On the morning of April 1, Sumter County Sheriff’s Office investigators and U.S. Marshals executed arrest warrants at a home on Louella Lane, where Flowers was taken into custody. He was taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center, where he was denied bond. Flowers is being charged with attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
