LANCASTER, SC – At least two people are hurt following a shooting Tuesday afternoon inside the Walmart in Lancaster. Lancaster Police Chief Don Roper says the shooting happened inside the automotive section of the store located on Highway 9 Bypass West. He says law enforcement has swept the buil ding and it is secure. A witness inside the store at the time tells WCCB Charlotte she heard around six or seven shots ring out around 2pm. Chief Roper says it appears the shooting happened during a fight between several people.
