LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Kim Delaney will not face assault charges related to her arrest in connection with felony assault, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday. Delaney, who starred in TV series "NYPD Blue," “Army Wives” and “The O.C.,” was arrested Saturday morning by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. At the time of her arrest, LASD officials said she was facing potential charges for felony assault with a deadly weapon. LASD officials confirmed to Nexstar's KTLA that there was a domestic disturbance call made Saturday morning. “Subsequent to an investigation by deputies, Mrs. Kim Delaney was arrested for an assault with a deadly weapon and Mr. James Morgan was arrested for battery,” a statement provided to KTLA reads. Delaney, 65, was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning. But later in the day, the D.A.'s Office confirmed that charges would not be pursued due to "insufficient evidence." Delaney played Det.
