RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The man who died following a shooting that also injured a woman in Richmond's Northside on Monday has been identified by police. The man was identified by the Richmond Police Department as 24-year-old Lamont Hawley-Barrow of Richmond. At 6:32 p.m. on Monday, March 31, Richm ond Police officers were called to the 4900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Hawley-Barrow lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where police said he died due to his injuries. A second victim, a woman, arrived at a local hospital in a private vehicle, according to police. She had an apparent gunshot wound, which officials said was non-life-threatening.
