Porch pirate caught on camera stealing Amazon package

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A porch pirate was caught on video stealing a package from an East Memphis home last week, Memphis Police say.
On March 28, officers say a man was seen taking an Amazon package from a porch in the 5000 block of Quince Road around 5:50 p.m. The package contained a set of kitchen
knives.
The suspect then left the scene in a white station wagon.

Days earlier, police said a group of people stole from two businesses in Frayser and Southeast Memphis.
On March 21, around 11:25 a.m., officers say they were called to Walmart on 7525 Winchester Road regarding a robbery.
According to reports, two men went inside and stole two 75-inch Onn Smart televisions. They exited the store through the emergency door and got in a U-Haul, where a third suspect waited.
The three men drove away from the scene in an unknown direction.

On March 23, officers responded to a shoplifting call at O'Reilly Auto Parts on 3255 Thomas Street around 1:50 p.m.
A man was accused of going into the store and grabbing a Super Start battery before walking back out without paying for it. The battery was worth $180.
He was seen leaving in a white, older-model Dodge Durango SUV with paint damage to the hood.

At this time, no arrests have been made in these cases, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
