KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are searching for a dump truck driver who left the scene of a deadly hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning in Kansas City, Kansas. According to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, at about 8:30 a.m., officers and emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash at 43rd Street and State Line Road. Olathe man charged in connection to deadly shooting of 21-year-old Upon arrival, KCKPD reported finding a man who had been hit by a construction dump truck. He was later pronounced dead by emergency responders. The driver who hit the pedestrian was said to have left the scene after the crash; however, KCKPD said the construction company is cooperating and helping police identify the driver.
