Man with machete arrested for armed robbery in North Carolina

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) — Police arrested a man in connection to an armed robbery at a grocery store in Asheville on Monday.
The Asheville Police Department said officers responded to a grocery store on the 600 block of Haywood Road around 5:25 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of an armed rob
bery.
According to reports, a store employee on the scene told officers a man stole a cinnamon roll and incense and pulled out a machete when confronted before leaving on foot.
Officers in the area quickly found the suspect, who they said matched the description and was eating a cinnamon roll, and took them into custody.
The police department said Jeffrey Dewayne Bradburn, 33, was arrested and charged with the following:
Robbery with dangerous weapon
Shoplifting concealment goods
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Bradburn was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $50,000 bond. ...read more read less
