(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Academy of Community Theatre (ACT II) is bringing Mary Poppins Jr. to center stage at the Ent Center for the Arts. "Mary Poppins Jr. is just a little bit shorter, so instead of the two-and-half hour or two hour show it fits into about an hour-and-a-half or ninety minut es, and the Jr. part takes out everything that could be seen as questionable and makes it just a little bit more family friendly," said Nathan Woolley who plays Bert in the play. Act II is an award-winning, non-profit theater company that brings literature to life through the magic of live performances. "We have schools come in for their field trips, and this is something that not a lot of performances do," said Woolley. "We're so focused on just helping kids and introducing the arts in a way that the family can enjoy and that young kids can enjoy."
