LUMBERTON, N.C. (WBTW) — A 46-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run Monday morning in Lumberton, according to police. Jimmy Tilley of Lumberton was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Officers responded at about 6:40 a.m. to E. 2nd Street, near the intersection of N. Rozier Street. Man killed in hit-and-run while changing tire on Interstate 40 in North Carolina Police said the vehicle that hit Tilley did not stop and fled the scene.
