RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after both were shot in Richmond's Northside on Monday. Just after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 31, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 4900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue for the report of a shooting. Whe n they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. According to police, a second victim was taken via personal vehicle to a local hospital. That victim, a woman, also had a gunshot wound.
