CORDOVA, Tenn. -- Police say a Cordova man was shot at after he interrupted a pair of thieves trying to steal his car. MPD has released video of the Mar. 21 shooting in the driveway of a home in the Walnut Ridge subdivision off Walnut Grove Road. The homeowner said he heard his car alarm go of f in the middle of the night. He went to his front door and saw one person beside his car and another inside. Shots fired at a Cordova home. Courtesy: MPD The victim said he yelled "hey' and that's when the man standing beside his car fired two shots toward him with a semi-automatic handgun. Woman robbed at gunpoint at a Downtown park The homeowner said his wife and three young children were also inside the house at the time of the shooting. No one was hurt. The suspects were seen getting into a white two-door car. They are facing charges of aggravated assault.
