Granby man held pending dangerousness hearing following alleged murder threats

GRANBY, Mass. (WWLP) - A Granby man was arrested on seven charges, including threatening to commit murder, following an incident on Saturday.
Northwestern District Attorney Spokesperson Laurie Loisel said that on Saturday, 43-year-old Matthew Tarczynski allegedly threatened two individuals nappin
g in a car in the parking lot of his apartment complex on New Ludlow Road in Granby. Tarczynski allegedly brandished what appeared to be a gun at the victims and called one of them a racial slur.
Pittsfield man sentenced to prison for multiple counts of sexual assault of a child
The victims in the vehicle proceeded to call 911 and go to the police station, showing officers a video on their cell phone that was taken during the incident. Tarczynski was then arrested, and police later executed a search warrant for his apartment. Officers found drugs and two BB pistols.
Matthew Tarczynski was charged with:
2 counts of Threatening to Commit Murder and Assault to Intimidate
One count of Assault to Intimidate
Trafficking in Cocaine
Possession of a Class C Drug with Intent to Distribute
Tarczynski pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday in Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown. He was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for April 3.
