GUTHRIE, Okla. (KFOR) — The Guthrie Police Department released the body camera footage after a woman was reportedly shot five times by her own husband on Saturday.
The body camera shows Larry Chandler sitting on a concrete slab while surrounded by police during a tense 45 minute stand off.
"
Let me see your hands! Let me see your hands! Put the gun down," said officers in the video. "Put the gun down! Come on man, we don't want to do this."
Chandler can be heard repeatedly telling the officers to shoot him.
"Kill me! Kill me!" said Chandler.
Police said the violence started with an argument and escalated after Chandler first hit his wife with a stick, then pulled out a gun and shot her five times.
"He's saying 'kill me, kill me, kill me'," said an officer in the video.
Officers demanded Chandler put his gun down and he refused.
"No! I said no! Kill me!" said Chandler.
Earlier that day, Rhonda Robinson said she had just spoken with Chandler's wife before the violence started.

"I told her I was gonna come back and sit outside with her because we sit outside and listen to music," said Robinson.
Robinson said when she came home police were everywhere.
"Usually it's pretty quiet. Kids play outside. It's really a nice neighborhood," said Robinson.
Officers tried to calm Chandler down several times.
"Larry, bro come on let's just talk about it. I just need you to put that gun down," said an officer in the video. "Larry what can I say to make you put that gun down bro?"
Chandler eventually puts both hands up and officers rush towards him.
"We got him, we got him, good job Larry," said an officer in the video.
Chandler is facing multiple charges including shooting with intent to kill.
"I wish y'all would have killed me, I wish y'all would have killed me man," said Chandler in the video.
Chandler's wife survived the shooting and was flown to a hospital and had to undergo emergency surgery.
