A risk for more severe storms this week; a Flood Watch through the weekend

The weather was very active on Sunday as severe storms tracked over central Indiana.
37 counties were under Several Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and 10 counties were under Tornado Warnings. There were numerous large hail reports and many reports of downed trees and powerlines throughout the area
. The National Weather Service surveyed damage sites in several counties south of I-70 but so far has not confirmed any tornadoes from Sunday's storms.
The storm system that produced the severe weather traveled east and a cold front moved across the state Monday morning. As a result, Monday was a cloudy, windy, and much colder day with afternoon temperatures in the 40s.
High pressure will clear skies overnight and temperatures will be below freezing at the bus stop Tuesday morning. Highs will recover to near seasonal levels Tuesday afternoon. The Indians have their first home game of the season on Tuesday and the weather looks pleasant for the game against the Iowa Cubs. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. and temperatures will be in the mid-50s for the start of the game.
Clouds will increase Tuesday night as another storm system approaches from the west. Wednesday looks to be another active weather day for Indiana. The entire state is highlighted under another Enhanced (Level 3 of 5) severe weather risk. A warm front will travel over the state Wednesday morning and bring the first round of rainfall. It will also place central Indiana in the warm sector of the system, which could fuel strong to severe thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening hours.
Wednesday's rainfall will be the beginning of an extended stretch of wet weather for the state. Expect a daily chance for rain through Sunday. A Flood Watch will be in effect from Wednesday evening through Sunday morning as 2-4" of rain is likely this week.
