BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — IU junior guard Yarden Garzon is reportedly entering the transfer portal.
She averaged 14.4 points per game this season, leading the team. She also had 5.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 40.7% from three.
Garzon is IU’s all-time leader in th
ree-pointers made.
She is the sixth player from IU’s team to enter the transfer portal, joining Lexus Bargesser, Lilly Meister, Julianna LaMendola, Henna Sandvik, and Sharnecce Currie-Jelks.
Garzon had played all three years of her college career with IU.
With three players graduating, IU now only has three players left on its roster that played this season: Shay Ciezki, Valentyna Kadlecova, and Faith Wiseman. Ciezki is the only one that played in more than half of the Hoosiers games.
IU went 20-13 this season and was eliminated in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Hoosiers made the NCAA Tournament for the sixth straight tournament and have made it to at least the second round every time in that stretch.
