Advocates turn Statehouse pink for breast cancer INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Statehouse turned pink today as Hoosier breast cancer advocates hosted the first-ever pink out day to raise awareness for breast cancer. The event brought together survivors, advocates, and supporters to unit e in the fight against breast cancer, which remains the most common cancer in Indiana and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the state. “Things that I learned through my own journey, also helping women with their journey, is to ensure to have a voice, to make sure that we’re asking for resources and help to kind of navigate this disease that none of us signed up for,” President of Pink4Ever Nadia Miller said.
