OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – One resident was hospitalized after a fire engulfed a home in Oshkosh on Monday afternoon.
According to the Oshkosh Fire Department, crews responded to a house fire shortly after 2:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of Liberty Street. Upon arri
val, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames at the back of the residence. The fire spread rapidly, consuming the entire structure.

The home was occupied by a family of six, five of whom were inside at the time. One resident was taken to a nearby hospital for smoke inhalation, while two others were evaluated at the scene and declined medical transport.
