ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Ontario County Sheriff's Office promoted their first female Chief Deputy Sheriff. Chief Correction Officer Stacy Lambert was promoted to the role, which is the third highest-ranking position in the sheriff's office. She served with Ontario County for 21 years. Ch ief Deputy Lambert began her career as a correction officer in 2004 before transitioning to the Road Patrol Division in 2012. In 2018, she was promoted to correction sergeant and was promoted again to chief correction officer in 2022.
