VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 40-year-old felon was arrested after a pursuit, and ammo was discovered Sunday night, according to the Visalia Police Department.
Polce said that around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a fight in a vehicle that was heading north from the 1900 block
of South Lovers Lane.
An officer found the vehicle matching the description at the 7-11 on Lovers Lane and attempted to pull it over.
Investigators say the driver, 40-year-old Jesse Hernandez, failed to stop, leading to a pursuit that ended in the 1100 block of North Manzanita Street.
During a search of Hernandez and the vehicle, officers say they discovered ammunition and a loaded magazine.
As a convicted felon, police say Hernandez is prohibited from possessing ammunition.
Hernandez was taken to the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility. ...read more read less
