CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- After a man allegedly took an envelope containing over $1,900 that was accidentally left by another patron at a Wells Fargo in Chesterfield County, police continue to search for him. According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, on Sept. 23, 2024, at the Wells Fargo located at 11400 Huguenot Rd. in Chesterfield County, a patron went into the bank and cashed a check for over $1,900 but accidentally left the envelope containing the cash on the counter. Police said the suspect, described as being a Black man, picked up the envelope and left the bank on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect was reportedly last seen wearing a black hat, glasses and a dark shirt. Police released the following images of the suspect captured on surveillance cameras in an attempt to assist the public to identify him.
