CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Rest Fest, a wellness festival retreat, is returning to Chesterfield County next month.
The event will be held on April 26-27 at The Cardinal, located at 17301 Memorial Tournament Drive.
The festival also doubles as a weekend retreat and will offer different prog
rams and immersive experiences for its attendees, such as:
Expert-led yoga, breathwork and meditation sessions
Corporate wellness and mindfulness workshops
Advanced healing modalities, including crystal medicine and contrast therapy
Curated musical performances by acclaimed artists: Big Fancy and Holy River
Wellness marketplace featuring local artisans and holistic businesses
"Rest Fest serves as a vital platform for Richmond's wellness community," said Rick Plautz, Founder and Organizer of Rest Fest. "By bringing together practitioners, participants and wellness-focused businesses, we're creating an ecosystem that supports and elevates the Region's growing wellness economy."
This wellness festival will not feature any alcoholic beverages. Rest Fest is partnering with Point 5, a Carytown non-alcoholic bottle shop, to provide other beverage alternatives.
The choice to feature Point 5 was intentional as it aligns with the festival's mission, "To promote holistic well-being and create inclusive spaces for mindful celebration."
Additional wellness programs feature contemporary and traditional approaches to wellness:
Sound healing and vibrational therapy sessions
Exploration of divine feminine and masculine dynamics
Somatic resilience training through contrast therapy
Community-building activities centered on res and restoration
