SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) -- People in Wessington Springs continue to mourn the loss of two victims from a Thursday night house fire. Neighbors react to deadly Wessington Springs fire In a Facebook post, the Wessington Springs Volunteer Fire Department expressed their grief and condolenc es, while saying the victims of the fire were Assistant Fire Chief Michial Brodkorb and his partner Tiffany Knipfer. "We lost one of the best," the post said. "Anyone that knew Michial, knows that he gave 110% to the fire department. His selfless service did not go unnoticed, as he would always volunteer to help with any community function or project." "The pain and sorrow that our department sustained was immeasurable," the post said. The fire broke out Thursday night and the couple were found the following morning. There are still questions about how the fire started, and authorities say they hope to find those answers soon.
