METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — "Life's a pitch."
That's the word from New Orleans advertising man, keynote speaker and author Tom Martin.
And it's the name for a mini-workshop.
It's designed to transform even the most timid person into a confident, persuasive and convincing speaker.
And it all
benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the LLS. Tom's son, Maes Martin, is a student at Jesuit High School and he's putting together a nonprofit of his own to benefit LLS.
WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood has your invitation.
It's at the Metairie Country Club at 580 Woodvine Ave. in Metairie on Wednesday, April 2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the events website.
And here's to pitching a homerun!
