Building on Main Street in Green Bay damaged following fire, no reported injuries

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A fire on Green Bay's east side reportedly caused an estimated $25,000 in damages.
According to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, on March 31 around 9:10 a.m. crews were sent to a reported structure fire in the 1700 block of Main Street. When crews got to the scene, he
avy smoke could reportedly be seen coming from the chimney and back of the stairwell.
Officials say there was burning oil in the basement. The flames were reportedly put out before the fire extended from the basement area.
WPS crews working non-stop to restore power to Wisconsin customers
Everyone was able to evacuate safely and there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire was not listed.
The release says the fire caused an estimated $25,000 in damages.
