Baton Rouge Flower Fest has floral exhibits, raises money for childhood cancer research
Mar 31, 2025
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Excitement is in the air as the Flower Fest returns to Baton Rouge, including floral exhibits and installations all to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Floral teams from all over Louisiana come together to create installations completely
out of flowers. Money is raised to support research in the fight against childhood cancer.
Attendees are encouraged to dress with this year's Under the Sea theme in mind.
A sold-out Friday gala hosts 400 guests who get a first look at the 12-foot-tall floral installations. Live music from Pants Party, watercolor artists and pressed flower body art and forever tattos can be expected for entertainment. The program will have a presentation of the 2025 honorees and the St. Jude Child announcement.
Organizers expected 4,000 attendees at this year's event. The Flower Fest has raised $300,000 in its first four years and aims for a $150,000 fundraising goal for its fifth year.
