BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – The coroner’s office identified the driver who died in the three vehicle crash in Tehachapi in November. Edgardo Alexander Flores Rivera, 34, of Modesto was the driver of a Mitsubishi Outlander traveling eastbound on Highway 58, west of Sand Canyon Road, on Nov. 1 5. His vehicle collided with another car at around 8 a.m., according to the coroner’s office. Rivera died at the scene, the coroner’s office said. According to the California Highway Patrol, Rivera lost control and struck a center median, then collided with a Ford F-250. A third vehicle, a Toyota Tacoma, then struck the F-250. 19-year-old dies of injuries suffered in Lamont crash: CHP Kathleen Marie Renteria Flores, 34, of Milpitas was also pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. She was a passenger in the outlander. A child passenger in the outlander survived but suffered major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
