LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A woman struck by a vehicle last week on Alexandria Drive has died from her injuries, according to an update from the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. The coroner identified the victim as 57-year-old Maria Luisa Salomon Gonzalez, of Lexington. Investigators say Gonzalez was hit by a vehicle on March 24 in the area of 1388 Alexandria Drive. She was taken to University of Kentucky Medical Center, where she later died. The coroner’s office says Gonzalez died from multiple blunt-force traumatic injuries sustained in the collision. Her death has been ruled accidental. Lexington Police continue to investigate the incident.
