ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - It is very warm this morning, some would say that it feels like an early July morning as the average minimum temperature is 61° on July 1 for Rochester. We are firmly in the warm sector through the rest of this morning with scattered rain showers around through about noon. Colder air is lurking right around the corner as the trailing cold front approaches from the northwest. It is a blast of cold that will send our temperatures down into the depths of the 30s and a northwest flow that could even send a few flakes around thanks to Lake Ontario. It won't be much, but it might hurt the spirits a bit. 8-Day Forecast Skies clear out Tuesday afternoon and temperatures hold in the 30s. Our next system approaches Wednesday into Thursday with rain showers taking over as we get another burst of warmth here. Temperatures could get all the way to 70 degrees by Thursday, and then come crashing down toward Friday and the weekend.
