WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) -- Woonsocket police are investigating a stabbing that happened on Sunday evening, leaving a man in critical condition. Around 6:30 p.m., a 12 News crew was on Elm Street and saw Woonsocket Police, along with a K-9 Unit, searching the area. Woonsocket Police Chief Thoma s Oates said that a man suffering from stab wounds showed up to the lobby of Landmark Hospital. Man seriously injured after being stabbed in Woonsocket. Police were seen searching the neighborhood along Elm St with their K9 team this evening.
