PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A detached garage at a Farview Lane residence was damaged by a fire Sunday evening, the Portsmouth Fire Department said. Around 9:43 p.m., crews from the Portsmouth and Chesapeake fire departments were sent to a residential structure fire in the 600 block of Farview La ne, and when crews arrived, they found a detached garage with heavy smoke and fire, according to the Portsmouth Fire Department. Crews put the fire out without incident, the Portsmouth Fire Department said, and no one was injured. The Portsmouth Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire. Close Thanks for signing up!
