HONOLULU (KHON2) -- On the morning of March 30 over 600 people participated in the Red Shoe 5K at the Ala Moana Center, a celebration presented by Kaiser Permanente to that raised over $44,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities Hawaii. Participants were able to take a 3.1-mile walk around the sh opping center, with the leader of the walk being NFL quarterback Marcus Mariota, with KHON2's own Jill Kuramoto and Howard Dashefsky emceeing the event. The walk through the center provided participants to experience an iconic Hawaii landmark in a unique way.
