Westbound Interstate 70 reopened in Garfield County near Rifle on Sunday afternoon after a crash shut down part of the highway earlier that day, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The westbound interstate was closed at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday between exit 90 for Colorado 13 and
exit 87 for Rifle, according to CDOT. The crash happened at mile point 87.
As of 3 p.m. Sunday, westbound I-70 had reopened.
